All the qualities of a seasoned television journalist are already emerging in Lexi’s work – speed, urgency, determination, a measured enthusiasm for her subject and an appealing presentation style devoid of stilted scripts. Her portfolio included frontline reports from bushfires, a live cross from the Luke Batty murder and a fine scoop on 000 calls about children left in hot cars — a year-long investigation that began with a mountain of documents secured under FoI and ended with a powerful package of interviews and core statistics.
