Cybersecurity in our Age

From a North Korean attack on Sony Pictures to a Kosovan hacker who sent US military personnel data to ISIS, Luke Dembosky has dealt with a range of destructive new-breed cyber attacks.

A former high-ranking Justice Department official who oversaw some of the United States' biggest cyber security cases, Dembosky has worked with authorities from Australia and many other countries in operations to dismantle global cyber threats, and represented the Department in cyber negotiations with China, Russia, and at the United Nations.

Dembosky is currently co-chair of the global cyber practice at the law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton.

He spoke at a Press Club media lunch about his experiences over the past 15 years, and fielded questions from moderater Age investigative journalist Richard Baker.
