The quality of entries in this category was of a very high level. The judges found it difficult to separate the top three. Konrad’s piece was declared the winner as the profile gave us a rare insight into the rise of Patty Mills. It delves deeply into the connection Mills has with his mother, father and ancestors. It’s engaging, thoroughly researched and beautifully written.
