Columnist Mark Day calls it a day

Veteran columnist, editor, foreign correspondent and media analyst Mark Day has announced his retirement from daily journalism.
 
In his final media column in The Australian, Day declared: :”After 57 years in journalism, it’s time.” He began his career in 1960 as a copy boy on Rupert Murdoch’s Adelaide News.
