Media Release: MPC partners with the Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations

The Melbourne Press Club is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Federation of Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations as the sponsor of the Excellence in Indigenous Affairs Reporting Quill award for the next two years.

Melbourne Press Club CEO, Cathy Bryson has said “this partnership will give gravitas and further exposure in this key area within our membership, industry and in our community.”

This partnership builds on the great work of the Melbourne Press Club diversity subcommittee and is part of the Club’s strategic vision for increasing diversity and inclusiveness.

Federation of Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations CEO, Paul Paton has said “a partnership with the Melbourne Press Club supports and creates mutually beneficial outcomes and opportunities for both our sectors and the community more broadly.”

The Melbourne Press Club is looking forward to providing additional opportunities for Indigenous and Torres Strait Islanders with the Indigenous Reporting Quill award and further initiatives with the Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations in the next couple of years.
