MPC signs new sponsorship deal

The Melbourne Press Club has a new sponsor  - the dynamic communications consultancy Six O’Clock Advisory.

MPC chief executive Mark Baker said the Club was delighted to welcome Six O’Clock as a corporate sponsor.

Six O’Clock director Patrick O’Beirne, who has been a member of the MPC board for several years, described the partnership as a natural fit.

Six O’Clock Advisory uses communication to help companies tell their stories.  And while we’re doing that, we’re also keen to ensure we keep good company,” he said.

"As either members, previous sponsors or volunteers on the board over the years, we’ve always been impressed by the Melbourne Press Club’s ability to respect the past while putting a firm focus on the future."

O’Beirne said the firm was looking forward to working with the MPC on a range of initiatives to ensure the club remains a formidable and increasingly influential media institution.

"Plus, we just want to hear more of (MPC President) Michael Rowland’s voice!” he added.
