Join us for our next Edit event, an open Q&A discussion with Alex Ellinghausen, award-winning photojournalist for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review based at the Parliament House bureau in Canberra. The event will be moderated by Edit convenor and Age journalist extraordinaire Rachael Dexter.

Ellinghausen began his career at the Bendigo Advertiser in 2007 before joining the Press Gallery in 2011 to report on federal politics. With three federal elections under his belt, he has shown us the daily drama of a tumultuous period in Australian politics.

Ellinghausen was the 2018 Press Gallery Journalist of the Year, the first photographer to have won this award. He has also been a recipient of the Quill awards, Nikon-Walkley awards and the Kennedy awards.
