Victoria's Energy Future

When the Victorian Government set a net zero emissions target for 2050, it was the first Australian government to do so. While every state and territory has since followed Victoria’s lead, the federal government has recently refused to commit to the same goal.

How will Victoria meet its emissions reduction goal despite this? And how will the historically coal-powered state manage the transition to clean energy and address other major environmental issues?

This webinar with Victorian Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Lily D’Ambrosio, moderated by MPC President Nick McKenzie first aired on 8 December 2020.
